I'm so glad to come back to blogging! and this time I want to keep myself active and updating my blog.
Lately, I've been researching some topics that I'm passionate about and one of them is health.
First of all, I would like to say that I'm not a nutritionist, neither a doctor, and I definitely recommend you to see a pro for your particular situation. I just want to break you down in terms that any of us could understand about general nutrition, workouts, and how to adjust the healthy lifestyle to your life and not the other way, I think that's why most people fail when trying to lose weight, gain muscle, etc.
Health is a very wide topic, so I would like to start talking to you about the basics of eating healthy. That's the base of a lifestyle where you can feel your best!
Depending on your goals (loss weight, gain muscle, body definition) you just need to follow two important things: Your calories over the day and your macronutrients. And you should be asking right now what the f*ck is macronutrients??
Well, the macronutrients are the main source of energy for our bodies and the way we get our combustible for developing our activities along the day.
We could see calories and macronutrients as gasoline for our car: we need to get out car's tank full, but also, we want to get quality gasoline with additives in order to get the best performance of our car, that's the same for our bodies! The gasoline is the food and the macronutrients of that food are the quality of that food to fill our bodies with energy and improve ourselves.
The main goal that we should be looking at is, for example:
For losing weight: We should be eating fewer calories than the ones that we spend along the day
For gaining weight: We should be eating more calories than the ones we spend along the day
For maintaining: We should be eating the same amount of calories that we are spending
But not everything is just calories, they should be good quality and here is where macronutrients come.

I will let you a link right here to a calculator of calories by foodspring (in espanish) and just by responding a few questions they give you numbers of grams of macros that are just right for your lifestyle and that's it!

Also, I strongly recommend you making track of your foods and one app that is very useful for that is MyFitnessPal it has a great database of foods and makes so easy how you can see your calories goal for the day and macronutrients.
And that's all for today, I want to thank you for reading this and I want to wish you a great day!
Looking forward to see you around here very soon.
